This article includes instructions on how to unlock your account or reset your password. You'll want to reset your password if you are having trouble logging in. After you reset your password, you'll use the new password, in conjunction with your email, to log in.

How to unlock your account
Your Fieldwire account will be locked after 5 failed attempts to log in with the wrong password.
This is a security measure that our system takes to prevent anyone other than yourself from trying to access your account. If your account is locked, you can unlock it by following the steps below.
Note: If you have locked your account, you'll immediately receive an email to the email address that was entered with the subject line: [Fieldwire] Unlock Instructions. If you have already received this email, please proceed to Step 3. If you have not received this email, or it has been longer than 6 hours since you received this email, please continue to Step 1 to generate a new one.
Step 1: Go to the Fieldwire Homepage, click on 'Login' in the upper-right, and click "Account locked?".
Note: You need to be subscribed to receive Fieldwire emails to receive this. If you are not seeing the email in your main inbox or spam folder, please refer to this article, How can I ensure my team is getting system emails (reports, task notifications, password resets, etc.)?, for more information, or reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org as we may need to resubscribe you to receive our emails.
Step 2: Type in your email address and click "Send unlock instructions".
Step 3: You will receive an email with the subject line '[Fieldwire] Unlock Instructions'. Click on the link in the email:
Note: It's important to click on the link in the most recent account-unlocked email as these links expire.
Step 4: After you select the link in the most recent account unlock email you will be redirected to a page that confirms the account has been unlocked. You'll then be prompted to reset your password to log into Fieldwire:
How to Reset Your Password
Step 1: Go to the Fieldwire Homepage, click 'Login' in the upper-right, enter your email, and click 'Next':
Note: You can also select "Forgot Password?" through the app on your mobile device.
Step 2: Click 'Forgot your password?':
Step 3: Type in your email address, then click 'Reset password':
You will see the following confirmation message:
If you are not seeing the Password reset email, please refer to this article on email deliverability or, contact 'Support@Fieldwire.com'.
Step 4: Within a couple of minutes, an email from email@example.com containing reset instructions will be sent to your inbox. Once you have located the email, select "Change password". Alternatively, you can copy and paste the unfurled URL into a new window in your browser to be redirected to the Password Reset Page.
Note: It's important to click on, or copy and paste, the link in the most recent password reset email. Step 5: You will be redirected to a webpage where you can choose a new password.
Input this new password twice and then press the 'Reset Password' button:
Step 6: You're all set to log in with your new password and access your Fieldwire account!
What if you are redirected to a different page?
If you select a link in a password reset email and you are led to this page:
It means that you have selected a link in an expired password reset email or the redirect to the correct page has failed. To reset your password:
- Search your inbox and SPAM folders for the latest password reset email and click the link in the most recent password reset email you can find.
- Right-click on "Change Password" and choose to copy the link in the latest password reset email and paste it into a new page in your browser.
- Delete any requested password reset emails and request a new one.
I'm trying to Reset my Password on Mobile, and I'm not on the right page
If you are trying to reset your password on your mobile device, and the link you press to reset your password doesn't redirect you to the reset password page, copy and paste the URL into a mobile browser window. Once you paste the link this should load the reset password page:
1. On iOS or Android, press and hold the "blue" link and select copy link:
2. Tap and hold and select paste:
What if you do not receive the password reset email?
- Check your spam or junk folder for the email notification.
- Wait 10 minutes and try again.
- Recheck the email you are entering into the password reset form.

Note: Verify you are accurately entering in the correct email address associated with your Fieldwire account before clicking 'Reset Password.
