Overview
You can view your project analytics through the Task Analytics view in the Tasks tab. If you have a Pro, Business, or Custom account plan, you can also generate project reports here (this feature is not available on free accounts). You can see the scope of your project as well as the open / fixed rates on your project. To access the Task Analytics view, select the 'Analytics' option from the Kanban Board:
You can customize the information you want to be displayed in your report by filtering and sorting. You can also view all metrics for your tasks (active tasks, priority and completion rate) in some helpful graphs in the Task Analytics view:
Note : in this view you will be able to see only the first top 20 categories (with the most of tasks), we suggest to use "Filter tasks" to show different categories.
If your project uses Custom Task Statuses, these will appear on the Task Analytics view:
If you study the graphs on this page, they can give you useful information regarding the total count of tasks you create once they've been completed and verified. These are great tools to measure the general progress and completion statistics for your project tasks.
Graphs
Note: The Lifetime Tasks Graph shows historical data. It is updated once a week on Sundays and displays up to 12 weeks of past data starting from the previous Sunday.
How are these figures in the 'In Progress' Graph calculated?
- Open rate: The number of tasks created that week.
- Completion rate: The number of tasks Marked as 'Complete' that week.
- Verification rate: The number of tasks Marked as 'Verified' that week.
The "Estimated time to project completion" figure is an estimate.
This figure is based on the number of days until all the tasks on the project have been marked as 'Complete'. This is based on the open and completion rate.
Example:
100 open tasks
Open rate = 10
Completion rate = 20
The number of open task will decrease by 10 every week
The estimated time to project completion = (7 days) * (100 tasks) / (20 - 10 tasks) =70 days
