Why won't Fieldwire sync my new data?

Sometimes data has trouble syncing due to networking issues. Once you are sure your device currently has connectivity and that you have available hard drive space, you can try resyncing Fieldwire several ways:

For iOS users:

  1. Once in the app, go to the Tasks page and use your thumb to swipe down on the screen to refresh it.
  2. If it won’t refresh, go to “Profile” at the bottom of the home page/project list and click “Synchronize Data” to force a hard refresh.
  3. If that doesn’t work, force restart the app by double clicking on the Home button and swiping up on the Fieldwire app to close it. Reopening the app should start the sync.
  4. If that fails, which shouldn't happen, please contact us at support@fieldwire.com for guidance.

For Android users:

  1. Once in the app, go to the Tasks page and use your thumb to swipe down on the screen to refresh it.
  2. If that doesn’t work, click the “Recents” button at the bottom of your phone (of the three buttons on the bottom of your phone, it should be the one furthest to the right) and swipe away on the Fieldwire app to close it. Then reopen.
  3. If it still is not syncing, you can hard reset the app by going to your device’s Settings, then clicking on “Apps,” then on “Fieldwire,” and selecting “Clear Data.” Then reopen the app and see if it starts syncing.
