Overview
If you're a member of a Fieldwire account with Business or Business Plus subscription access (more info here: How to upgrade to a Pro, Business, or Business Plus account), and you want to view your tasks on Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar, this integration is for you!
Account Managers can generate calendars that are easily imported via URL link to either of the calendar applications. If you have tasks on several different projects, you now have a way to quickly and easily view all of them at once, or filter by one or more calendars to obtain a clear visual of what lies ahead.

Setting Up the Integration in Google Calendar
You'll need an Account Manager for this portion of the process, which involves creating a shareable calendar.
1. Go to the Integrations tab on the account level, and click "Google Calendar" under Apps.
2. Click the "+New calendar" button. This pops up a modal window with "Account project" and "Task assignee" fields. Use the "Account project" field to choose an existing project to create the calendar for, and "Task assignee" to select the user whose tasks will be displayed on the calendar. Once you've made your selections, click "Create calendar".
3. You can now copy the URL of the new calendar by clicking the three dots to the right of the calendar entry and choosing "Copy URL to clipboard":
4. In Google Calendar, click the "+" symbol next to "Other calendars" and choose "From URL" from the pop-out menu.
5. This opens the "Settings" page, where you can paste your copied URL and click the "Add calendar" button. It typically takes a few minutes for the tasks to be copied to Google Calendar; this is an example of what they will look like when the process is complete.
You can rename your newly added calendar (we recommend using the project name); click the three dots next to the calendar's name, then choose "Settings". At the top of the Settings page, you'll be able to enter a calendar name (or switch out the URL, change permissions, etc.).
Here's what your task will look like when you click on it from within Google Calendar:
You can repeat this process for any other projects that you'd like to track on your calendar app.
Setting Up the Integration in Outlook Calendar
The process is nearly identical for Outlook as it is for Google; from within the Integrations tab, you'll choose Microsoft Outlook, then the "+ New calendar" button. Click the 3 dots to the left of the newly created calendar and select "Copy URL to clipboard".
In the "Home" page of Outlook Calendar, click "Add calendar".
The popup window offers several options on the left side; you'll pick "Subscribe from web". From here, paste your copied URL into the top line, and enter the project name in the "Calendar name" field beneath. Entering a name causes the "Import" button to highlight and become clickable.

You can repeat this process for any other projects that you'd like to track on your calendar app.
FAQs
When should I expect to see changes I made in the Fieldwire app reflected on my calendar?
It can take up to 24 hours for your changes to be displayed in your calendar app:
Can I create a calendar for any user and any project?
If the user and the project are both on your account, then yes, you can!
Who can see the calendar I created?
Anyone with the URL can view your calendar, so it is technically public.
What if one of my account users has a different calendar app besides Outlook or Google Calendar?
Although we don't support other calendar apps at this time, the URL should still be importable.
Is there a limit to how many tasks I can have per calendar?
Yes; you can have up to 2,000 tasks per Google Calendar, and 5,000 tasks per Outlook Calendar. If you surpass one of those limits, the tasks that are furthest in the future are not included.
After I mark a task as "Verified", does it still display on my calendar?
No, any "verified" tasks will be removed.
