Overview
Fieldwire users on a Business or Business Plus subscription have the option to set up integrations between their Fieldwire account/projects and 4PS. The 4PS integration has a few unique setup requirements compared to other integrations. This integration requires manual setup by the 4PS team. In this article, we’ll walk through what makes the integration different and how to get started.
Note: This article focuses specifically on how to connect and configure the 4PS integration. If you’re interested in other integrations or general automation setups in Fieldwire, check out these articles:
Setting up a Connection to 4PS
As mentioned above, connecting Fieldwire to 4PS is different from how we integrate with other apps like Google Drive or SharePoint. Before trying to connect with 4PS, you’ll need to make sure you have the correct account and project permission levels in both Fieldwire and 4PS.
To create the connection, you’ll need the following:
-
A Fieldwire account with API access:
- For access to the API, please visit this article: Introduction to the Fieldwire API
-
A 4PS account and manual integration setup:
- To integrate Fieldwire with 4PS, you’ll need to contact the Fieldwire Support Team at support@fieldwire.com, who will get you in contact with the relevant Product Manager.
Establishing the workflow requirements
To connect Fieldwire to 4PS, do the following:
