Overview & Background
Numerous 2D plans and 3D models are created through design tools like Revit.
This modeling program allows architects, consultants, and contractors to design and visualize the end product in 2D and 3D. The Revit Plugin makes it easier to directly upload the plans to your projects.
The Revit Plugin is available to all Pro Subscribers.
At the moment, the Revit Plugin is not available to SSO users.
You can download the link to the plugin by clicking on this link.
Note: If you are running Windows 10 or higher, you will need to download an XPS viewer.
Note: The Revit Plugin is only available on Revit 2019 and Revit 2020; it is not compatible with Revit LT.
Using the Plugin in Revit
After you install the plugin, you will see an 'Export to Fieldwire' option.
Note: You can only add the sheets to projects covered under a 'Pro' or 'Business' subscription. You cannot add sheets to projects covered under the Basic Plan. Refer to this article for more information.
After the Plans upload to the project, click on “View in Fieldwire”.
That will lead you to the project where you can confirm the name of the plans.
You can refer to these articles for additional information on uploading plans and the cloud storage platforms the Fieldwire can link to.
