Fieldwire users on a Business or Business Plus subscription can set up integrations between their Fieldwire account/projects and select third-party platforms, including Crewscope.
The Crewscope integration has a few unique setup requirements compared to other integrations. Specifically, it requires manual setup by the Crewscope team. In this article, we’ll walk through how the integration works, what’s required, and how to get started.

Setting up a Connection to Crewscope
As mentioned above, connecting Fieldwire to Crewscope is different from how Fieldwire integrates with apps like Google Drive or SharePoint. Before attempting to connect, you’ll need to ensure you have the correct permissions and that the Crewscope team has configured the integration.
Requirements
To create the connection, you’ll need the following:

A Fieldwire account with API access
- Crewscope requires a Fieldwire API key from the project-owning account.

A Crewscope account with integration access
- Only Company Admins with the IT role in Crewscope can view or configure integrations.

Manual integration setup by Crewscope
- To connect Fieldwire and Crewscope, you must contact the Crewscope team directly.

Once contacted, the Crewscope team will:
- Configure the integration using the provided Fieldwire API key
- Scope the integration to the specified Fieldwire project IDs
- Validate permissions and data flow

Once enabled, the integration creates a direct link between Fieldwire planning data and Crewscope’s field execution workflows.
Fieldwire as the Source of Truth
- Fieldwire remains the system of record for tasks, milestones, and schedules
- Project leaders continue planning and maintaining schedules in Fieldwire
One-Click Weekly Goal Creation
- Selected Fieldwire milestones or tagged task groups are imported into Crewscope
- Weekly goals are automatically created with:
- Titles
- Dates
- Quantities
- Trade ownership
This eliminates duplicate entry and keeps plans aligned.
Direct Worker Communication
Crewscope distributes weekly goals directly to workers via:
- SMS or QR code
- No app, email, or login required
Crews receive a simple weekly reference and visual calendar that helps them prepare for planning meetings and coordinate work in the field.
Progress & Feedback Loop
As crews share progress updates, notes, and photos in Crewscope:
- Information remains tied to the originating Fieldwire task
- Project managers and superintendents gain earlier visibility into risk and blockers
Data Flow Overview
- Fieldwire tasks and milestones are tagged for a four-week lookahead
- Task data is sent to Crewscope
- Weekly goals are auto-created (titles, dates, quantities, trades)
- Updates to task dates or quantities refresh corresponding weekly goals
- Crewscope distributes goals to workers via SMS or QR
- Workers receive goals in their preferred language
Note: Crewscope integrations operate only on the specific Fieldwire project IDs provided during setup. This ensures that even when enterprise-level API keys are used, access remains scoped to the intended projects.
