Overview
Fieldwire users on a Business or Business Plus subscription have the option to set up integrations between their Fieldwire account/projects and third-party platforms, including Jobotics.
The Jobotics integration allows Jobotics to analyze selected project documents stored in Fieldwire, such as contracts, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and safety logs, and publish a consolidated Jobotics Risk Report back into each Fieldwire project.
The Jobotics integration has a few unique setup requirements compared to other integrations. Specifically, Jobotics requires authorization to read selected Fieldwire project files and then manually generates and uploads Risk Reports into the project. In this article, we’ll walk through what makes the integration different and how to get started.
Note: This article focuses specifically on how to connect and configure the Jobotics integration. If you’re interested in other integrations or general automation setups in Fieldwire, check out these articles:

Setting up a Connection to Jobotics
As mentioned above, connecting Fieldwire to Jobotics is different from how we integrate with apps like Google Drive or SharePoint. Before trying to connect with Jobotics, you’ll need to make sure you have the correct account and project permission levels in both Fieldwire and Jobotics.
To create the connection, you’ll need the following:
-
A Fieldwire account with API access:
- For access to the API, please visit this article: Introduction to the Fieldwire API
-
A Fieldwire account with access to project files
- The user authorizing the integration must have permission to view the project files that will be analyzed.
-
A Jobotics account
- Jobotics access is required. The Jobotics team provides an installation guide to walk you through the authorization process.
-
Authorization between Jobotics and Fieldwire
- During setup, you’ll authorize Jobotics to list your Fieldwire projects, enumerate project files, and read selected file contents. Jobotics will also be authorized to upload generated Risk Reports back into Fieldwire.
Establishing the workflow requirements
To get the most value from the Jobotics integration, we recommend the following setup and usage guidelines:
- Project documents should be stored in Fieldwire as PDFs, including:
- Contracts and subcontracts
- RFIs and submittals
- Addenda and meeting minutes
- Safety and QA documentation
- Start with a focused document set for your first analysis, such as:
- The contract package
- The most recent RFIs and submittals
- Plan to re-run Jobotics analysis on a recurring basis (for example, monthly or at major project milestones) to identify new or emerging risk patterns.
Previously generated Jobotics Risk Reports are automatically excluded from analysis to avoid duplicate inputs.

FAQ
What is Jobotics?
Jobotics is an AI project analyst platform built for industrial and specialty contractors. It analyzes project documents and other connected data sources to surface contractual, technical, coordination, and safety risks as prioritized insights and reports.
How does Jobotics work with Fieldwire?
Jobotics reads selected project documents stored in Fieldwire, analyzes them using AI, and publishes a consolidated Risk Report (PDF + interactive web view) back into the Fieldwire project.
Will this change how my team uses Fieldwire?
No. Teams continue storing and managing documents in Fieldwire as usual. Jobotics adds AI-generated Risk Reports that can be referenced during project reviews, planning meetings, and execution.
Will I need to pay a fee for this integration?
There’s no cost to get started - all users receive free credits to generate reports. Over time, advanced features or higher usage may move to a usage-based plan, but the core integration will remain free for our early design partners. We’re committed to co-building a solution that truly fits your workflow. Please note that Fieldwire subscription requirements still apply.
