Overview
Fieldwire users on a Pro, Business, or Business Plus subscription have the option to set up integrations between their Fieldwire account/projects and third-party platforms, including Conkoa AI.
The Conkoa AI integration allows field teams to create, search, and update Fieldwire tasks using natural language (voice or chat). Conkoa can also deliver AI-generated daily task briefings, giving workers a simple way to review and act on their work without navigating through multiple apps.
This integration has a few unique setup requirements compared to other integrations. Conkoa requires authorization to read, update, and create Fieldwire tasks via the Fieldwire API. In this article, we’ll walk through what makes the integration different and how to get started.

Setting up a Connection to Conkoa AI
Before starting, ensure you have the correct permissions in both systems.
To create the connection, you’ll need the following:
- A Conkoa AI Account with Administrator access
- Integration setup requires administrator-level permissions in Conkoa.
- Conkoa provides onboarding support for integrating with Fieldwire.
- A Fieldwire account with API access

- A Fieldwire account with Admin permissions on projects
- The user authorizing the integration must have permission to view, create, and update tasks in the relevant projects.
Authorization between Conkoa and Fieldwire
During setup, you authorize Conkoa to:
- List Fieldwire projects
- Read project tasks
- Create and update tasks
- Provide daily task briefings based on synced task data
Establishing the workflow requirements
To get the most value from the integration:
Confirm user email matching
- Conkoa maps users to Fieldwire based on exact email address match.
- If a Fieldwire user doesn't exist in Conkoa, you can safely ignore them or add them as needed.
Start with one project for initial setup
- Daily task briefings and task workflows are project-specific.
Enable daily task briefings
Briefings summarize key task details for each user, including:
- Task assignments
- Due dates
- Priority
- Locations
- Checklist progress
- Recent comments
Use natural language commands
Conkoa supports conversational task queries and updates, such as:
- “What are my most urgent tasks?”
- “Mark task 9 as complete.”
- “Create a new task to install outlets.”
To connect Fieldwire to Conkoa AI, do the following:
1. Generate your Fieldwire API token
In Fieldwire:
- Open Account Settings
- Locate the API Token section
- Generate your personal API token
- Copy the token
2. Log into Conkoa (web version)
- Navigate to https://conkoa.ai and log in with your Conkoa admin credentials.
3. Open Integrations in Conkoa
In the Conkoa web app:
- Click ⚙️ Settings
- Select Integrations
- Choose Fieldwire
4. Authenticate Fieldwire
- Paste your Fieldwire API token
- Click Connect
Conkoa will validate the connection and sync your Fieldwire users and projects.
5. Review and confirm user mapping
Conkoa automatically maps users based on email.
- Mapped users can receive briefings and perform task actions
- Unmatched users appear with a warning
- You can ignore unmatched users or add them to Conkoa
6. Set up a Daily Task Briefing (optional but recommended)
To set up a briefing:
- Click New Briefing
- Add a title
- Select a project (briefings are project-specific)
- Set the delivery day and time
- Select the appropriate timezone
- Choose the users who should receive the briefing
- Click Create Briefing
Users will receive a daily summary of their tasks in Conkoa.
How the Conkoa AI → Fieldwire task workflow operates
Once connected, Conkoa allows users to manage Fieldwire tasks using simple voice or chat commands.
Viewing and querying tasks
Users can request their task lists, including:
- “What tasks do I have today?”
- “What are my most urgent tasks?”
- “List tasks by location.”
Conkoa retrieves the relevant Fieldwire tasks and displays them in a structured format.
Updating tasks
Users can update task attributes such as:
- Status
- Priority
- Due date
- Assignee
- Location
- Comments
Example:
“Mark task 9 completed.”
After the update is confirmed through Conkoa, the user receives a:
- Confirmation message
- Direct link to the updated task in Fieldwire
Creating tasks
Users can create tasks through voice or chat, such as:
- “Create a new task to install electrical outlets.”
Conkoa may ask follow-up questions:
- “Do you want to add a due date?”
- “What priority should this be?”
- “What location should I use?”
Users can provide details or simply say “Create it.”
Conkoa then:
- Creates the task in Fieldwire
- Sends a confirmation
- Provides a link to the new Fieldwire task
