Q&A: Can I send a report from my mobile device?

Question:

Is it possible to send a report from the Fieldwire app on my phone or tablet?

 

Answer:

Yes! In order to send a report from your app, you'll first have to create a report template within the web version of Fieldwire (Introduction to Task Reports in Fieldwire). This allows you to specify exactly what you'd like to see within the report, such as task attachments, categories, etc. Once this has taken place, you can distribute the report from your mobile device.

Step-By-Step Instructions: Sending a Report from your Fieldwire App

iOS


1. Launch your app and select Tasks

2. Select the export icon
(on Android, this will be the printer icon at the top right of the screen)

3. This will reveal your report templates. Choose the correct report.

4. Add recipients

5. You can remove recipients by long pressing on the name
(iOS only)

6. Press 'Send' and you'll see the
following notification

Android

1. Launch your app and select Tasks
