Overview
Fieldwire integrates with Teleworker AI, a Remote Field Presence Platform that connects autonomous robots to your Fieldwire tasks. With the integration, tasks created in Fieldwire, such as site inspections, punch-list verifications, and progress documentation, can be executed by a robot instead of requiring a person to walk the site.
When a task assigned to Teleworker AI is created in Fieldwire, the best available robot in the fleet is automatically dispatched to the specified location. The robot navigates to the site autonomously, captures photos or video, and returns that documentation directly to the originating Fieldwire task, updating the task status automatically once the work is complete.
Fieldwire remains the source of truth for your project information. Teleworker AI does not replace Fieldwire or migrate your project data elsewhere as it extends your existing task workflow into physical, robot-executed inspections.
This article explains how the Teleworker AI integration works, what information is exchanged between the two platforms, and its current limitations.

Setting up a Connection to Teleworker AI
To connect Fieldwire and Teleworker AI, you'll need:
- A Teleworker AI account with an active robot fleet deployment
- A Fieldwire account with API access: Integrations: Quick Overview and API Requirements
- A Fieldwire user with Admin access to the projects that will be connected
During setup, Teleworker AI is granted secure, authenticated access to your Fieldwire projects. Once connected, Teleworker AI can:
- Read tasks assigned to Teleworker AI, including their location, priority, and due date
- Update task status as a robot mission progresses
- Attach photos, videos, and inspection notes to the originating task
Access is limited to the projects authorized during setup.
How the Integration Works
Once connected, the integration follows a consistent workflow from task creation in Fieldwire through to completed documentation.
-
Create and assign the task in Fieldwire
- Create a task in Fieldwire as you normally would, and assign it to Teleworker. Set the location where the inspection or photo should be taken.
-
Teleworker AI dispatches a robot
- Teleworker AI automatically picks up the task and assigns the best available robot from the fleet. The robot navigates to the specified location on its own, using its internal navigation system.
-
Live monitoring
- While the robot is en route and on-site, you can follow along through the Teleworker AI web interface, including:
- A live camera feed showing what the robot sees in real time
- The robot's position on the floor plan and on the building's BIM-based digital twin
- Asset details - clicking any element on the digital twin opens that asset's properties
- While the robot is en route and on-site, you can follow along through the Teleworker AI web interface, including:
-
Robot captures documentation
- When the robot arrives at the location, it captures the required photo or video.
-
Results sync back to Fieldwire
- The captured photo (or video) is automatically attached to the originating Fieldwire task, and the task status is set to Done meaning no manual upload required.
What Syncs Between Fieldwire and Teleworker AI
Fieldwire → Teleworker AI
- Task creation and updates
- Status changes
- Assignment changes
- Due dates
- Location information
Teleworker AI → Fieldwire
- Mission status and completion
- Photos and videos
- Inspection notes and observations
- Task completion status
Current Limitations
- The integration currently supports inspection and documentation workflows (photos, video, and task status). It does not automate physical construction activities like material installation or equipment operation.
- Robot mission success depends on site accessibility. Stairs, locked doors, temporary obstructions, and limited network availability may require a robot operator to step in.
- Best results depend on the building environment being previously mapped for navigation. Highly dynamic sites may need periodic route updates.
- AI-generated observations are intended to assist and not replace professional judgment. Low-confidence results should be reviewed before formal acceptance.
FAQ
What is Teleworker AI?
Teleworker AI is a Remote Field Presence Platform that uses autonomous robots to perform routine site inspections and documentation, initiated directly from tasks in Fieldwire.
Does Teleworker AI replace Fieldwire?
No. Fieldwire remains the source of truth for project information and task management. Teleworker AI executes the physical inspection work and returns results to the task you created in Fieldwire.
Will project data be migrated into Teleworker AI?
No. Fieldwire remains the system of record. Teleworker AI accesses task and location information needed to complete the assigned inspection.
Do I need to buy or manage robots?
No. Teleworker AI manages the robot fleet and automatically assigns the best available robot to each task.
Who can I contact about this integration?
Contact your Teleworker AI representative for assistance with setup, licensing, robot deployment, or support.
