Overview & background
Fieldwire is priced on a per-user basis - this means each user you invite to your projects will need to be covered under an annual or monthly license (if they do not have a paid subscription of their own).
If you already have a premium subscription but would like to purchase additional licenses to cover your users (or switch from monthly to yearly), follow the directions below.
Note: This article provides an overview of how to adjust your annual or monthly license count. You'll only be able to perform these steps if you are an Account Owner or Manager. The steps outlined in this article apply to all the scenarios below:

How to add or remove Annual licenses
1. Go to app.fieldwire.com on a computer or in a mobile device web browser, log in to your Fieldwire account, and click on the 'Account' tab:
Note: The following pages are only going to be accessible through the Web version of Fieldwire and are not currently available within the Mobile app.
2. Next, select 'Manage subscription':
3. Choose the option to 'Edit Plan':
Note: If you'd like to alter your subscription level, refer to the steps in this article.
4. Select the type of additional licenses you wish to purchase - Monthly or Yearly. Then, use the '+' or '-' options to add or remove the appropriate number of licenses on your current subscription:
Note: Prior to checking out, you may notice a yellow box that states, "Your current user count exceeds this number of licenses. The additional users will be charged at the monthly rate."
This occurs when there are more users than licenses on your account. You can check your total user and annual license count in the 'Account' tab:
Note: If the 'Current' user number is greater than the 'Checkout' user number, then you will need to add more licenses to your account to not incur overage charges.
How to add or remove monthly licenses
Unlike the Annual subscription, where one can add or remove annual licenses, the monthly license count updates automatically and is based on the total number of users on your account each month.
While you are on the Monthly Plan, you can adjust the users you are paying for on the account 'People' tab:
Anyone who appears under the account 'People' tab is an individual you are paying for, so adding or removing monthly licenses is the same as adding or removing users from your Account/Projects.
Fieldwire will automatically adjust your monthly invoice based on the total user count on your Account and Projects. If you add a user to your Premium Monthly subscription, your monthly invoice will reflect a prorated charge for the amount of time they have been on your project/account, up to your monthly renewal date. Similarly, if you remove a user on the monthly plan, you'll receive a credit for the unused time that you had paid for.
Like on the Annual Subscription, if you invite someone with their own premium subscription to your projects, you will not pay for their usage, as they have a premium subscription of their own - you can confirm this under the 'Project' within the People tab:
A grey dollar icon means the user is paying for their own Fieldwire subscription as indicated above.
A green dollar icon means the Project owner (you) is paying for the user.
Invite or remove users as you see fit to cover the users who are actively using Fieldwire.
